Prince Chunk, the Furlanthopist, starts Foundation for Pets in Need

Remember Prince Chunk? He is using his prodigious fame to give back to others less fortunate than he. So other kitties and pets won't have to go sick and hungry he, (with a little help from his 19-year-old owner Vince Damiani course), has started a foundation called The Prince Chunk Foundation (of course!) to help pet owners who may be struggling financially. If you or someone you know is on the brink of putting a pet on the streets please contact TPCF or a local shelter. There is help! Thanks Chunk for caring that's very BIG of you :) :)

Have a Wonderful Memorial Day

I have been thinking quite a lot lately of "building" a new home. I have also built my share of paper houses and have saved the flattened remains of one I made many years ago, recently discovered, under a bunch of books. If you want to get crafty this holiday, I would recommend a paper house, might be a nice way to remember what a friend or loved one's home looked like, or recall your childhood dream home and bring it to life now. Hope you are having a great holiday!

Buddy Leads Cop to the Fire and Saves his Home

Hero Dog Buddy, untrained, knew what he had to do and waited for the police to come on the main road and led them back to his owner's burning home. It is a fact the cops had no GPS back there on the winding roads and needed a guide and there was Buddy. If you think it was a coincidence or luck, watch this video. Buddy knew he needed to show them his home and in fact they got there in time to save the house itself and the owner and Buddy only had minor injuries. Quick thinking and smarts fueled by love, Buddy is a true hero :)

A Really Big "Art" Project! :)

Some may have noticed I have been on and off a bit, and it's because I am working on ANOTHER big art project (so to speak). It's my new home! So yes for the next few weeks it's going to be very busy since I am painting and fussing over things and then the move itself will be coming up.. so bear with me! Yesterday we were doing the very cute homey thing of choosing flooring from Lumber Liquidators.. and out of the blue a lady (in this very very small showroom) begins speaking very loudly into her cellphone. There is no way we could NOT hear her she was maybe 3 feet away. In a classic New Yawk accent she began to profusely apologize to someone saying.. she was wrong, it was all her fault, and from now on when she crossed the line and overstepped in her words.. "just say MUSKRAT!"

I could have died trying not to laugh. Of course we have been using this now in many combos, starting pretend fights so one of us can say "MUSKRAT!", pretending the cats are saying it.. It's good advice really. Can you keep fighting if someone says MUSKRAT? Maybe but.. thought I might use this opportunity to show this magical Peacemaker rodent, and to post perhaps the only song that has ever or will ever be written about romantic Muskrats :)
