He could have sold a rusty wagon on square block wheels and made it sound elegant :) He told David Letterman he made the term Corinthian Leather up because it sounded nice.
"They found a leather that was very pliable, very soft and very durable, so Corinthian!" Montalban said.
"But does it mean anything?" Letterman asked.
"Nothing," Montalban conceded."
This was just one small thing he did that made the world smile.
